TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The first day of the Seminole Intercollegiate was stopped early due to darkness at the tail end of the second round and Jacksonville University men's golf sits T13.
The event got off to a delayed start due to rainy conditions overnight, teeing off round one at 10 a.m.
Tomas Hjalsted sits T18 with four holes to play in his second round. He shot a first round 73, making a birdie, an eagle and 12 pars. He had the lone eagle for any competitors on the day. He followed that up with another birdie and 10 more pars in the second round. His 22 pars were tied for eighth-most in the field and he and
Joseph Sullivan both shot 2-under on Par-5s for the day.
Daniel Montalvo sank two birdies and 11 pars in his first round. He started his second round with five straight pars, and added four more and a birdie before stopping play with five holes remaining.
Sullivan and
Jack Neill each had nine pars and a pair of birdies in the first round. Sullivan followed that up with eights pars and a birdie so far in the second, while Neill had seven pars and a birdie with six holes remaining in his second round.
Alexandre Vandermoten made seven pars in the first round, heating up to rattle off 11 and a birdie in his second round.
The second round resumes with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start Tuesday morning at the Seminole Legacy Golf Club, with final round action starting immediately afterward.
