JACKSONVILLE, Fla.- The Jacksonville women's rowing team continues to hit the water this weekend at the SIRA Regatta in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

Last time on the water, the Dolphins put together a complete team performance at the Sunshine State Invitational. Every boat improved their time between race one and race two, and the Dolphins Second Varsity Four took first in their respected Petite Final, a race they won by more than 18 seconds over boats from Louisville, Miami and West Virginia. At the Sunshine State Invitational, the team saw some of the best times in Jacksonville's history of attending the invite.

"Fired up to get back after it this weekend!" exclaimed head coach
Mike Lane when asked about the upcoming SIRA Regatta. "We have been working hard, and it is always exciting to watch our women compete. Right now, we are ready to take on the challenge of the weekend."

The weekend of racing starts on Saturday, April 15
th at 9 AM when the Novice 4+ take the water to kick off the invite. Boats that qualify from their respected time trial's will advance to the semi-final and eventually the final on Sunday. To follow along and see more information on the SIRA Regatta, click
