GAINESVILLE, Fla. — At the Mark Bostic Golf Course, the Jacksonville University men's golf team finished in 11th, staying put in their spot on the leaderboard from the second round. The Dolphins moved up as high as sixth in the final round, dropping back into their previous spot in 11th. 

The highlight for JU was Alexandre Vandermoten, as the redshirt senior finished in a tie for 13th, shooting a third-round score of two-over to earn a top-15 finish. Vandermoten finished at one-under-par amidst challenging conditions.

Josef Hacker finished second for the Dolphins, picking up strokes at the beginning of the round before finding a few setbacks on the final five holes of his third round. Hackers finished the tournament at six-over-par 

Tomas Hjalsted finished third for JU after a five-over day, finishing the tournament at nine-over-par. Hjalsted carded the best round of the tournament for the Dolphins, using his five-under second round to steady himself in the event.

Jack Neill (t-61st) and Daniel Montalvo (t-68th) rounded out Jacksonville's lineup, with Neill carding a four-over-par final round. Montalvo finished at six-over-par on the day, finding success on the back nine with even-par nine holes.

Florida took home the team title at their home course, as North Florida's Nick Gabrelcik took home individual medalist honors. The Dolphins head close to home next, heading to Sawgrass Country Club in Ponte Vedra, Fla., for The Hayt Invitational.
