TALLAHASSEE, Fla.- Jacksonville Beach Volleyball faced off against South Carolina and Grand Canyon on Sunday afternoon in the CCSA Midseason Tournament.

Despite falling short in both duels, the Dolphins battled throughout the day.

Against South Carolina, Jacksonville's pairs battled in each match, but were unable to win a set against the Gamecocks. All Dolphin duos fell short in two sets expect Anna Erickson/Olivia Szyskiewicz who pushed their match to three sets. The duo won a back and forth second set, 28-16 but fell short in the third losing 15-10.

The Dolphins took on Grand Canyon at 2:00 PM and was defeated 1-4. One's pairing Erickson/Szyskiewicz came out victorious winning their first set handily 21-11. In the second set, both duo wouldn't give up, but Anna and Olivia came up victorious, winning a wild second set 32-30.

This weekend was a great opportunity for the Dolphins to play against some of the nation's best and look to build upon this experience going forward in the season.
