JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- A program-record six volleyball athletes were named to the Academic All-ASUN team. Seniors
Breanna McDonough and
Kristina Nika, juniors
Jade Cuya Cobos,
Alija Heins and
Claire Mrukowski and sophomore
Haley Yount all earned the honors.
Mrukowski and Heins both earned 4.0 GPAs in health science with minors in exercise science and biology, respectively. McDonough earned a 3.61 GPA as she completes her degree in psychology, while Nika earned a 3.81 GPA in exercise science.
Cuya Cobos excelled on and off the court in her first season at JU, earning a 3.67 GPA in Psychology.
While only a sophomore in athletic standing, Yount is already a junior in the classroom while earning 3.9 in health sciences with a minor in biology.

The Dolphins will return to the court Thursday for the first round of the conference volleyball tournament against North Alabama. First serve is slated for 4 PM and the match will be streamed on ESPN+.
