GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville University men's golf team finished in 11th at the Gators Invitational, with
Daniel Montalvo highlighting the event for the Dolphins, finishing in a tie for 26th.
Montalvo finished at four-over for the event, shooting even-par through the first two rounds. Montalvo's 71 and 69 had him in the top-25, but fought through tough conditions on the final day finishing just outside that mark.
Second for JU, was
Tomas Hjaltested who finished four strokes back of Montalvo, settling in a tie for 45th. A pair of 71's in the first and third rounds were the highlight for Hjaltested in the event.
Finishing third in the Jacksonville lineup was
Jack Neill who earned a tie for 48th, just one shot behind Hjaltested. Neill shot even-par in the second round.
Rounding out the scoring lineup was
Andrew Morgan who finished in a tie for 66th, scoring a one-over scorecard in the first round.

Jacksonville will head to the Linger Longer Invitational, hosted by Kennesaw State on March 16th, playing in Eatonton, Ga.
