JACKSONVILLE, Fla.-- Jacksonville Beach Volleyball turned in a strong performance at the ASUN Crossover, going 3-1 across four matches hosted at their home courts. Over two days of action, the Dolphins secured back-to-back 4-1 wins on Friday, followed by a gritty 3-2 victory and a tough loss to close out Saturday's slate.
Day One: Dolphins Dominate at Home With 4-1 Wins
Jacksonville opened the weekend with a confident 4-1 win over Eastern Kentucky. The duo of Emily Kubicsko and Claire Mrukowski rallied from a set down on the top court to claim the match in three. Katie Martinez and Morgan Perry followed with a tight straight-set victory, while Hayden Garnett and Kristina Nika handled business efficiently on Court 3. Miller Reames and Kate Taylor added to the scoreboard with a close sweep to lock up the team win.
Later that afternoon, the Dolphins delivered another 4-1 result — this time over Central Arkansas. Katie and Morgan stayed unbeaten on the day with another clean win, while Kristina and Hayden cruised through their second match. Miller and Kate showed poise under pressure to edge their opponents on Court 4. Amanda Cunningham and Kelly Erhard secured the clincher in a tight three-set battle at the fifth flight.

Kristina and Hayden rolled on Court 3, and Amanda teamed up with Kelly for a solid victory on Court 5. Despite dropping two close matches, the Dolphins came away with their third team win of the weekend.

The second pairing of Katie and Morgan fell in three, while Kristina and Hayden once again battled through a tight contest on Court 3. Miller and Kate, along with Amanda and Kelly, rounded out the lineup in a match that saw UNA come out on top across the board.
