VALDOSTA, GA — The Jacksonville University men's golf team finished in fifth place at the ASUN Championship tournament.
Brandon Lohr led the team with a sixth place finish, firing a four-under scorecard in the final round. Lohr carded three consecutive under-par rounds shooting one-under in the first two rounds.
Next for JU was
Tomas Hjaltested who finished in 11th, one stroke behind Lohr at five-under. Hjaltested shot two-under and then four-under before wrapping up the weekend with a one-over scorecard.
Daniel Montalvo finished a consistent weekend of golf in 19th overall and third for the Dolphins. Montalvo improved in each round shooting even-par, one-under and two-under.
Rounding out the scoring lineup for Jacksonville was
Will Harris, shooting one-under overall and finishing in 26th place.
Jack Neill finished out all JU golfers competing in the event finishing in 42nd.
