ESTORO, Fla. — The Jacksonville University men's golf team finished in eighth place at the Old Corkscrew Invitiational hosted by FGCU.
Daniel Montalvo and
Tomas Hjaltested finished at the front in a tie for 24th. Both golfers shot eight-over-par in the event, with Montalvo finishing strong with a one-under final round scorecard. Hjaltested carded a one-under round of his own in the second round.
Jack Neill came next for Jacksonville, finishing in 39th at 12-over after three rounds. Neill improved in every round, shooting 78,76,74 in the tournament.
Rounding out the scoring lineup was
Brandon Lohr and
Will Harris. Lohr shot 15-over and finished in 43rd while Harris finished in 52nd.

Jacksonville will finish out the regular season at the Tarheel Intercollegiate hosted by UNC on Saturday (April 12).
