JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- The 2025-26 season has been a historic one for the Jacksonville Dolphins. Head coach Special Jenning's team hit 20 wins for the first time since 2017-18, posting the school's best record since that season.
The run doesn't stop there, though, as Jacksonville will look to close the regular season out strong with a pair of rivalry battles on tap.
At Stetson
The Dolphins will travel south to face their most-played rival in school history, the Stetson Hatters. Jacksonville took game one this season, downing Stetson 76-70 at Swisher Gymnasium in a hotly contested game.
The Dolphins have played no team as frequently as they've battled the Hatters, facing off 57 times in program history.
The Hatters are one of the top teams in the ASUN, sitting tied for third in the conference standings with an 11-5 ASUN record. Guards Cameron Thomas and Mary McMillan are two of the best players in the league, with McMillan earning back-to-back Player of the Week awards.
Wednesday's game holds massive ASUN implications for the Dolphins. With a win, Jacksonville would secure a place in the conference quarterfinals, securing a first-round bye and a trip to Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena on March 5.

Vs. North Florida
Jacksonville concludes the regular season with a rivalry showdown against the North Florida Ospreys. The Dolphins have done well in recent history against their River City Rivals, winning four of the last five match-ups.
The teams were in a dog fight earlier this season, but Jacksonville won out over the Ospreys 58-52 at UNF Arena. Freshman
Aniah Smith led the way for the Dolphins, leading the team with 16 points in a come-from-behind victory.
North Florida sits in 10th place in the ASUN standings, heading into this week with a 4-12 conference record.
Saturday will also be Senior Day in Swisher Gymnasium. Before the game, Jacksonville will recognize its senior class on their outstanding accomplishments on and off the court for the program.
