COLUMBIA, S.C. – Beach Volleyball closed play at the Carolina Challenge on Saturday, falling to No. 21 Boise State, 3-2, before dropping a 5-0 decision to No. 20 South Carolina at Wheeler Beach.

Perry & Taylor Claim Court Four Point

Morgan Perry and Katie Taylor delivered one of Jacksonville's two points against Boise State, rallying for a three-set victory over Addison Moss and Elli Wolthuis. After splitting the first two sets, the Dolphins duo controlled the deciding set to win 21-18, 11-21, 15-8.

Martinez & Fiedler Continue Strong Stretch

Katie Martinez and Maddie Fiedler added Jacksonville's second point against the Broncos with a comeback three-set victory over Lily Patock and Avery Bowidowicz. After dropping the opening set, the pair responded with back-to-back wins 21-14 and 15-7 to secure the match 19-21, 21-14, 15-7.

The duo's performance continued their strong run together this season following their 6-0 start as a pairing earlier in the week.

South Carolina Tops Dolphins

In the afternoon match, host No. 20 South Carolina secured a 5-0 victory. The Gamecocks earned wins across courts one through five to close the Carolina Challenge.

Despite the losses, Jacksonville opened the tournament with two victories on Friday over UNCW and College of Charleston, finishing the weekend 2-2 at the Carolina Challenge.

Jacksonville will look to build on the strong start to the season as the Dolphins continue their 2026 campaign.
