JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville University beach volleyball team extended its program-record winning streak to six matches Saturday morning with a 4-1 victory over Mercer before falling to No. 17 North Florida, 4-1, in the final match of the UNF Invitational.

The Dolphins opened the day strong against Mercer, winning four courts to secure the dual and complete a season sweep of the Bears after previously defeating Mercer 3-2 earlier this season.

Garnett & Seward Set the Tone at No. 2

Hayden Garnett and Jamie Seward earned a decisive straight-sets victory on court two, defeating Mercer's Milner and Estrada, 21-9, 21-9.

Kleithermes & Mrukowski Deliver at No. 3

Perry & Taylor Stay Strong at No. 4

Morgan Perry and Kate Taylor secured a two-set victory over Mercer's Lenhardt and Lee, winning 21-14, 21-19 to help clinch the dual.

Martinez & Fielder Continue Perfect Weekend

Katie Martinez and Maddie Fielder remained unbeaten on the weekend, earning their fourth victory with a straight-set win over Mercer's Peck and Sayler, 21-17, 21-8. The pair finished the tournament 4-0, accounting for Jacksonville's lone point later in the day against North Florida.

In the final match of the tournament, Jacksonville faced host and No. 17 North Florida. Martinez and Fielder once again delivered for the Dolphins, defeating Villalon and Bunch in straight sets, 21-15, 21-19, for JU's lone point of the dual.
