JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- With first serve just around the corner, the Jacksonville Dolphins announced their full slate of matches for the fall season Tuesday. JU will play a 31-match season, playing in four non-conference tournaments and a 14-game ASUN schedule.
The Dolphins open the season at Jacksonville State for a tournament against Southern University, Southern Miss and the hosting Gamecocks. Jacksonville's first match of the fall is against the Southern Tigers Friday, Aug. 18 at 12 PM Eastern.
After the opening weekend of games, JU will get to play host for the Dolphin Volleyball Classic presented by Hampton Inn East Regency. Jacksonville will welcome the Connecticut Huskies, the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers and the Florida A&M Rattlers for three days of volleyball action inside historic Swisher Gymnasium.
JU opens the tournament Friday, Sept. 4 at 7 PM against Coastal Carolina. The Dolphins then face UConn Saturday at 2:30 PM and Florida A&M Sunday at 2 PM.
Jacksonville will then travel north for a tournament hosted by reigning Final Four squad Pittsburgh. JU will face the Panthers as well as Wright State and High Point. The Dolphins close early season tournament play in South Florida, facing Alabama A&M, Central Michigan and FIU in FIU's tournament.
Before ASUN play, JU squares off against the Florida Gators on Wednesday, Sept. 23. This is Jacksonville's first game against the Gators since 2018. Later in the season, the Dolphins will also travel to Tallahassee for a game against Florida State on Wednesday, Oct. 7. That is JU's first bout with the Seminoles since the 2014 NCAA Tournament. It's the Dolphins first regular season bout with FSU since 2003. The 2026 season is the first time Jacksonville will face both UF and FSU since 1995.
