Box Score Jacksonville, FLA - The Jacksonville University Women's Soccer team opened year one under head coach
John Constable with a midfield battle that showcased a valiant effort, but the Dolphins fell victim to the University of North Florida in a 4-0 decision Wednesday evening at Patton park.
The Dolphins and Ospreys battled for a full 90 minutes but it was UNF who came out victorious.

Courtney Green was a bright spot between the pipes as she recorded her first career save in the Jacksonville uniform. Green, a transfer from Eastern Tennessee State University recorded 5 saves on the evening against an unrelenting 15 shots faced.

Hayley Friedl held off the Ospreys offense in the first 45 minutes to go into halftime knotted at zero.
The UNF offense got on the board early in the second half, starting with a goal in the 55th minute from Thias Reiss. The Ospreys struck again in a matter of minutes with a goal from Emma Voight assisted by Kendra Hoffman. The momentum stayed with UNF in the 70th minute as Mikayla Bond found the back of the net to make it a three-goal lead. Reiss returned in the final ten minutes of play to put the Ospreys up 4-0 with a goal off of a penalty kick.
The Dolphins travel will travel to Miami this weekend for a Sunday morning contest against Florida International University at 10 a.m.
