JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Jacksonville's women's soccer team (5-1-1) is looking to remain unbeaten at Southern Oak Stadium, as it rounds out its home stand against Charleston Southern University (0-2-1). This is the best start to the season the program has achieved since 2002. After recording four more goals in the win over Alabama A&M this past Sunday, the Dolphins have tallied an ASUN conference best with 20 goals on the season.
This afternoon, the Dolphins are set to compete against the Charleston Southern University Buccaneers. The Buccaneers are coming off a close loss against North Florida.Â
This contest marks the eighth time the programs have met and the fourth time Charleston Southern has traveled to compete at Southern Oak Stadium. Jacksonville trails with a 2-5 overall match record. The last meeting between the two occurred in August of 2019 and resulted in a 3-1 loss for JU. Â
