Jacksonville Women’s Soccer Announces 2025 Schedule

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville University women's soccer team has finalized its 2025 slate of games, the program announced Wednesday. In the second year under head coach Ryan Moon, the Dolphins will start the '25 season at home on Thursday, August 14 against Edward Waters University.

"We are really excited about releasing the schedule for this season. It's a great balance of strong teams that have a variety of different styles of play," Moon said. "It's going to help test us across a number of different areas and allow us to challenge ourselves weekly. In addition, the conference is going to be strong again this year like most years and we know the high level. That being said, we are eager to build on last year's performances and make our stamp on it. Overall, we can't wait to be back on the field together, ready to give everything in representing this great university."

The Dolphins' schedule features trips to Georgia Southern (Aug. 17), the University of Miami (Aug. 24) and Troy University (Aug. 31) following the opening night contest against EWU. Jacksonville will play host to Florida Atlantic (Sept. 4) and Florida International (Sept. 13) to just about round out non-conference schedule.

JU will begin ASUN conference play at home on Thursday, Sept. 18 against Queens. This year's Atlantic Sun matchups will be against Queens, West Georgia, Stetson, Florida Gulf Coast and UNF.

A non-conference date at South Carolina State on Thursday, Sept. 25 breaks up ASUN play before the program finishes out its year with eight conference tilts.

The first edition of this season's River City Rumble will happen at UNF on Sunday, Sept. 28 at 7 p.m. The Dolphins play their eighth and final home game on Sunday, Oct. 19 against the Ospreys at 1 p.m.

Moon picked up his first Division 1 win last year against South Carolina State at home, followed by starting ASUN play 1-0 after a win at Stetson. The Dolphins made it to the first round of the ASUN Tournament in 2024, falling in penalty kicks.

In terms of rematches during non-con play, Jacksonville was defeated by FIU while tying Troy 2-2 and beating South Carolina State 5-0.
