Jacksonville Readies For JT Poston Invitational

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- Fresh off a Top 10 team finish at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate, the Jacksonville Dolphins are headed back to the Carolinas, this time to tee up at the JT Poston Invitational in Waynesville, North Carolina hosted by Western Carolina.

This is JU's second-consecutive season playing in the JT Poston Invitational. The Dolphins finished in 13th place last season. Junior Brandon Lohr was JU's top performer on the week, posting a strong T28 finish with a two-over score for the tournament.

This year's field brings a mix of mid-majors and high-major programs from the southeast and beyond.

In addition to the hosting Catamounts and the Dolphins, the field features Drexel, Elon, Francis Marion, James Madison, Kennesaw State, Lipscomb, Middle Tennessee State, North Carolina State, South Carolina, Southern Miss, UT Rio Grand Valley, Wisconsin and Wofford.

The Dolphins are coming off a solid opening week of play, finishing ninth a week ago in Myrtle Beach. Two Dolphins --- Lohr and sophomore Evan Raynor --- posted Top 20 finishes in the first tournament of the year.
