JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- Jacksonville senior midfielder
Jack Taylor added to his already robust awards shelf, earning preseason honorable mention All-American honors from USA Lacrosse Magazine.
This is Taylor's second All-American honor from USA Lacrosse Magazine, earning postseason honorable mention honors last season. Taylor had a breakthrough junior season, smashing personal career highs. He scored 36 goals and dished 25 assists, earning first-team All-ASUN honors. He had eight different games with five or more points, scoring eight hat-tricks.
He recorded a career-high six goals and eight points in an 18-4
blowout win over Iona. He had a career-high five assists in an 11-6
win over Queens (NC).
Taylor is one of two ASUN players to be named to the
USA Lacrosse Magazine list, joining Utah's Nikko DiPonio. Taylor was also named a team
captain ahead of the 2026.
Taylor and the Dolphins will open the regular season with a marquee, neutral site match-up with the Rutgers Scarlet Knights in Naples, Florida at the Paradise Lacrosse Kickoff. Face-off is scheduled for January 31 at 2 PM.
