After a stellar career with the Dolphins’ men’s soccer team from 1975-78, Aleks Mihailovic totaled 136 points, 54 assists and 41 goals. He earned All-American honors in 1978 after becoming the third player in NCAA history to amass 40 goals and 40 assists in a career. At the time of his induction, his 54 career assists rank sixth in the NCAA all-time books, while his 0.82 assists per game is seventh.

Mihailovic played three years professionally for the San Diego Shockers and the Washington Diplomats of the NASL. After graduation, his number 14 jersey was retired.
