Yaun, a four-year letter-winner from 1974-78, led the Dolphins to consecutive Sun Belt Championships in 1977 and 1978. Yaun also had two top-10 finishes at the Sun Belt Tournament , including the 1978 individual title, which he won by eight strokes. He still holds the record for the largest winning margin in Sun Belt history - 11 strokes. During his career, he helped lead JU to four titles, including the Florida Tournament of Intercollegiate Champions title. He claimed a 10th-place finish in the inaugural SBC Championship and was named to the All-State Team after finishing sixth in the Florida Intercollegiate Championship. Yaun became the third Dolphin to advance to the NCAA Championship, doing so as an individual in 1978. He coached the Jacksonville women's golf program during the 1992 & 1993 seasons.Â
