One of the first two softball players ever inducted to the Jacksonville Hall of Fame, alongside teammate Sarah Sigrest Caffrey, Sarah Simon was named the Atlantic Sun Conference’s Player of the Year in 2013, leading the league in slugging percentage, on base percentage, home runs and total bases. She left Jacksonville as the program’s all-time record holder in almost every offensive stat, most notably home runs and RBIs as well as leading the program in single season fielding percentage all-time. A member of the 2011 Conference Championship team, Sarah Simon helped set the mark for offensive success as a Dolphin, earning her place in the JU Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2025. Simon led JU in both '11 and '13 in batting percentage. In '11, '12, and '13 Simon was the program leader in long balls while also leading the team in hits once ('13) and triples twice ('11, '12). During the '12 and '13 seasons, she led the 'Phins in RBIs with 83 over two seasons.
