Russell Knox was named to the Golf Coaches Association of America All American Team and was a Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar in 2006. That same season he helped lead Jacksonville University to the Atlantic Sun Championship in record fashion while finishing runner-up to teammate Duncan Stewart in a two-hole playoff for individual medalist honors. Knox finished the 2006 season ranked 12th in the nation and was selected to be a member of the Scottish National Team for the European Youth Championships. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Jacksonville University in 2007. At the conclusion of his playing career at Jacksonville University, Knox joined the PGA TOUR as a professional golfer. Knox participated in 26 PGA TOUR events in 2014, earning eight top-25 finishes and placing 40th overall in the FedEx Cup standings.
