Jacksonville University

Alexander Brest was a long-standing member of the Building and Grounds Committee for more than 40 years, and was the Chairman for the majority of that time. He was instrumental in the advancement of not only athletics on campus, but also the improvement of facilities throughout the University.

Brest is primarily responsible for most of the athletic facilities on the JU campus, and the baseball facility bears his name. A friend of the University, his legacy will live on forever for all Dolphin Athletics.
